Performs occupational therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and assists the OTR/L in patient activities. Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The individual provides direct patient care for diverse patient populations that vary in gender, age, socioeconomic status, education, physical and mental abilities, locations, sexual lifestyle, and racial and ethnic background. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is an 11 bed ICU that cares for critically ill children at Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children.
