Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed; according to established practices and procedures Operates X-Ray Equipment to make radiographs of designated anatomical area.  Responsibilities include knowledge of all x-ray equipment, proper patient positioning, exposures, digital image management for interpretations, implementation of patient charges, and assists physician as required. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required. Recognizes the need for control/assessment of pain for patients and helps to prevent or reduce patient pain levels when possible.

The educator plans, implements and evaluates all programs and services administered by the Diabetes Control Center. Acts as collaborative member of the clinical team in providing continuity of and quality patient care. Responsible for registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and answering of telephone. Responsible for overseeing processing of clinic and hospital professional charges including updating of procedure and diagnosis codes in database coordinating reports and maintaining fee ticket files.
