Women and Children’s Float Pool provides nursing and tech support to clinical areas within Women and Children’s Hospital. Our nurses focus on the medical needs and treatment of a broad range of ages from newborn to adults. A thorough orientation is provided on Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, PICU, Women’s surgery and RNICU. Each unit has yearly unit specific competencies that must be maintained by the Float Staff.
