Assist physicians during procedures as a scrub technologist by maintaining a sterile environment for procedures, applying arterial/venous pressure, setting up of angiography trays, transportation of patients as needed and maintenance of supplies.

Maintains established standards of care, policies, objective, and goals in administering professional nursing care to all patients. Prepares patients for surgery by performing diagnostic test required by the surgeon and anesthesiologist, documenting past medical/surgical history and current home medications and reporting abnormal results to the appropriate person (surgeon, nurse practitioner, anesthesia evaluator, etc.). The pre-admission RN also prepares patients for the cath lab and other hospital admissions.
The Patient Care Aide(PCA) works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Patient Care Aide include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The Patient Care Aide must exhibit the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Anesthesia Technician supports the anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist by the preparation and Set up of appropriate equipment and supplies for each surgical case.

The RN executes therapeutic physician orders and therapeutic nursing interventions. The RN evaluates the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes.
