Job Summary: Under the direction of the Radiology Director, and a radiologist, performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Operates X-Ray Equipment to make quality Images /  radiographs of designated body parts. Responsibilities include knowledge of all Imaging procedures. Will be available for emergency on-call procedures as required, or set forth. Responsibilities include knowledge of all Ultrasound procedures, proper patient positioning, exposures, Utilization of PACS, implementation of patient charges, and assists physicians as required. Under the direct supervision of licensed nurses, the Emergency Room Attendant performs various duties to assist in the care of patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. These duties include, but are not limited to, obtaining EKG's, venipuncture, ambulation assistance, toilet assistance, feeding, measuring vital signs and blood glucose, and transporting.
