The Wellness Registered Dietitian provides on-site health coaching, health screenings and educational classes for clients.

Performs occupational therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and assists the OTR/L in patient activities.  Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.

Helps the PACS/RIS network Administrator do the following:  Plans, direct and supervise all technical aspects for the PACS system in regards to services, programs and evaluation of such programs.  Helps develop, implement and evaluates PACS policies with the Director of Imaging and others as needed.  Coordinates the budget and PACS expansions with the Imaging Services Director and Chief Information Officer.

Collect information from patient and family pertaining to registration and enter into the hospital registration system.  Disseminate paperwork appropriately and timely. Receive incoming telephone calls, answer questions and route to appropriate person or take a detailed message. Schedule patient appointments and accept/process  payments from patients.

The Patient Care Aide (PCA) works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Patient Care Aide include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards.   Pediatrics is a 38 bed medical surgical floor located within Women and Children’s Hospital. Our nurses focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults up to 21 years of age. Their specialized training allows them to provide their patients and families with age appropriate emotional support and medical care. Our nurses are part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Pediatric Hospitalists, Nurse Practitioners, Residents, Physical Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Pharmacists, Dieticians, Social Workers and Child Life Therapy.
