As a Hospice Aide, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provide various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patient’s personal needs and to promote comfort. The Hospice Aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care given.
Performs assigned duties under the supervision of the therapist. Participates in physical/occupational therapy patient care with only the direct on-site supervision of the RPT, PTA or OTR/L.
Provides timely purchases of supplies and equipment from approved requisitions and sources; ensures proper documentation and audit trails are maintained; ensures prudent and ethical purchasing practices are followed.

Job Summary
The Hospitality Trainer is responsible for training any new assigned Hospitality Assistant. These duties include delivering and retrieving patient meal trays, speaking the menu using the BME, replenishing nutrition rooms, and delivering snacks, while providing individualized assistance to each patient.
