Experienced RNs : $5000 with work commitment (external candidates)

The Scrub Assistant, under the guidance of the RN provides services to surgical patients, maintaining an aseptic environment. The scrub assistant assists in the transporting of patients.
Operates data entry terminal including inputting data into computer files. Serves as liaison between patient and medical support staff.
Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel.

As a PRN Floater you will be trained in all areas of the Food & Nutrition department. As a PRN Floater the employee needs to be available for all shifts/hours and willing to work where needed. This is a non-benefit position. The following is a list of job duties that the employee might be asked to do. This is not an all inclusive list.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Patient Services – Hospitality Assistant (Main and Women’s & Children’s)
- Delivers meals to patients within ten minutes of food cart arriving to floor and identifies each patient using two patient identifiers.
- Greets each patient according to customer service standards and offers individualized assistance with meal tray
- Appropriately handles all off-schedule trays and isolation trays while following universal precautions.
- Retrieves trays and records calorie intake data for designated patients during tray retrieval process.
- Delivers nourishment’s to patients in timely manner for AM, PM, and HS snacks.
- Distributes and collects menus in a timely manner and or assist patients with menu selection via BME. Ensuring patients have a selected menu by the second meal after the initial diet order.
- Women’s & Children’s: Expedite meal trays in a timely and accurate manner.
Utility (Main and Women’s & Children’s)
- Wash and sanitize dishes / pots & pans using proper procedures. Log all required temperatures.
- Ensure hand soap, towels are stocked in all areas
- Sweep & mop floors as needed / assigned. Ensure all trash is removed from kitchen.
- Assist with patient meal carts.
Catering / Store Responsibilities / Retail (Main and Women’s & Children’s)
- Provide the highest level of customer service to all guests / customers.
- Accurately run the cash register. Ensure all money is handled according to policy.
- Barrister – make coffees as ordered.
- Assist with event set-up / food preparation while maintaining all time & temperature standards.
- Stock items in an organized manner. Maintain a clean work environment.
- Prepare salad bar for service. Prepare food to order and serve customers in a friendly and timely manner.
Production (Main and Women’s & Children’s)
- Prepare food items for cold prep, patient tray line, cafeteria or other venues following all recipes and utilizing the forecast and tally sheets.
- Ensure all food items are cooked / produced and held with the proper temperature ranges.
- Prep for food production: slice meats, vegetables, mise en place trays / carts.
- Put away all received stock efficiently and timely.
- Maintain all temperature / cleaning logs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Maintains established standards of care, policies, objective, and goals in administering professional nursing care to all patients presenting to Emergency Services.

Provides expertise in vascular assessment, deciding on appropriate device for patient specific needs. Provides PIV for difficult access, inserts Midlines and EJ devices when needed. Provides a teaching environment at bedside as needed.
Works under the supervision and direction of a Pharmacist filling routine medication orders and other related duties.
Prepares patients for surgery by performing diagnostic test required by the surgeon and anesthesiologist, documenting past medical/surgical history and current home medications and reporting abnormal results to the appropriate person (surgeon, nurse practitioner, anesthesia evaluator, etc.). The pre-admission RN also prepares patients for the cath lab and other hospital admissions. Position is located at the Imaging Center.
Acts as collaborative member of the clinical team in providing continuity of and quality patient care. Initiates patient care, gathers vital signs, prepares patient and exam room for procedures, and collects specimens. Provides patient education and support as needed to assist physician, patient and family. Assists coworkers and draws blood as needed.

The LPN implements technical nursing procedures according to established policies and procedures and plan of care, assists and reinforces routine patient education, and documents patient care appropriately. The LPN communicates and interacts with other team members to facilitate teamwork and delivery of quality care.

Provides technical support to the lab by receiving/processing requisitions/specimens and ordering specified lab tests according to standard operating procedures. Responds to phone requests and enters lab test data into computer.
