Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Under moderate to minimal supervision of a licensed/registered Occupational Therapist (OTR), administers patient care programs of specific treatment. Performs technical tasks necessary to the delivery of an occupational therapy program.
Acts as collaborative member of the clinic team in providing continuity of and quality patient care. Assesses and provides appropriate intervention for the problems that patients and families experience related to their health care and treatment to include teaching, counseling and supporting as needed to assist provider, patient and family. Also acts as lead clinician in assistance to provider and/or as dedicated telephone assistant.

The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for evaluation and treatment of inpatient and outpatients with a variety of diagnoses. This position assists EVS team in maintaining a high quality standard of housekeeping service by performing daily cleaning/restocking patient rooms, nursing stations, restrooms, offices and other assigned areas in accordance with established procedures of the department and Helen Keller Hospital. Aides are expected to display a courteous, friendly and professional attitude toward our customers at all times.
