Admits patients, which includes interviewing, preparing admitting forms, and assigning rooms. Receives all faxed documentation from outside the facility and verifies accuracy and Medical Necessity before attaching to patient accounts.
The CT Technologist shall perform radiological and computerized tomography procedures under the supervison of the Radiologist. Responsible for supervising students during clinical rotations.
Provides terminal cleaning, packaging, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies. Records sterilization process according to hospital policy.
The Surgical Support Attendant works under the direction of the RN/Licensed Practical Nurse. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, transporting patients, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the unit. The Attendant demonstrates the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, to set and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
The case manager coordinates with physicians, nurses, social workers and other health team members to expedite medically appropriate, cost-effective care. The case manager applies clinical expertise and medical appropriateness criteria to resource utilization and discharge planning.
Facilitates resource management activities for inpatients based on identified patients. Coordinates patient’s stay from admission to discharge through collaboration with physicians, nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to enhance continuity of patient care, promote cost effective utilization of resources and enhance patient, nurse and physician satisfaction.
Provides psychosocial assessment, resources and intervention to hospitalized patients.
Understands all operations of food services at the Hospital. Including, all food prep, food storage, food delivery, stocking, doctor’s lounge, sanitation, ordering, scheduling, and call center operations. Directly responsible for maintaining systems (temp logs and prep list filing). Responsible for coaching and training of employees, the supervisor sets a positive example and follows all policies and procedures correctly. Must work towards obtaining Servsafe certification and attend on going education classes at Corporate University.
Performs all cashier duties such as being courteous, totaling sales, and providing correct change. Must follow all cashier policies and guidelines daily by maintaining the register keeping it locked at all times. Additional duties may apply such as stocking condiments, cleaning, serving and prepping occasionally. Follows established practices and procedures for patient identification and service.
Provides medical nutrition care to patients through nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention and education utilizing evidence based guidelines. Develops care plans with appropriate follow-up and reassessment of intervention. Manages the total nutritional care of patients receiving Enteral Nutrition. Assess and diagnose patients for malnutrition.
Performs physical therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) and assists the RPT in patient activities. Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.

Accountable for all or some aspects of developing, monitoring, and teaching: clinical orientation, policies and procedures, PBDS rating, and other opportunities for staff development. Works closely with clinical departments to ensure quality of training.
