Registration Representatives are responsible for entering accurate patient and guarantor information into the CPSI computer system. These steps are to be followed in accordance with the established policies and procedures and under the direction of the supervisor.
The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures. He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures. He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations. The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.
The Multiskilled Technician coordinates communication between unit/department staff and other departments of the organization. He/she transcribes physician orders by computer order entry or by utilization of appropriate forms. He/she performs other clerical duties using computer desktop applications. The Multiskilled Technician relays messages to appropriate personnel and maintains the medical record. He/she observes cardiac monitors for rhythms and reports any changes to licensed personnel.
