During the 4-year apprenticeship program, the apprentice associated with the North Alabama Craft Training Facility shall receive work experience and job-related education in all phases of the occupation, including safe work practices, necessary to develop the skill and proficiency of a skilled professional. At the end of the program, the candidate will receive an apprenticeship journey worker certification from the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship and their NCCER certification from the North Alabama Craft Training Center.

Responsible for the coordinating the maintenance and preventive maintenance of the Security and Parking Department's electronic systems. These systems include, but are not limited to, the access control system, CCTV system, key systems, Infant Protection system, parking-fee computer system and the parking gates.
