Responsible for all Accounts Payable duties performed at facility level, to include: obtaining signatures and proper coding from managers, invoice batch preparation to forward to Helen Keller Hospital, maintaining AP files, fielding vendor calls and all other AP duties not assigned to Helen Keller Hospital. Also responsible for occasional on site invoice data entry, check printing and mailing. Communicates with Helen Keller Hospital to facilitate timely invoice payment. Records daily cash collections. Provides daily cash collection reports to various Hospital staff and authorized third parties. Records all checks received. Issues monthly rent statements. Opens and sorts department mail. Assists with month end journal entry preparation and post close reconciliations. Serves as backup to Payroll Assistant. Provides assistance to all Finance staff as needed.
The Revenue Cycle Analyst duties willinclude data analysis, charge capture, process improvement, project management, reimbursement analysis, KPI reporting, financial analysis and staff education for specific service lines and supporting departments (revenue centers) through the organization and its affiliates.
Key responsibilities include interacting with Revenue Cycle stakeholders, including Finance and Administration by supporting and understanding clinical and billing processes, identifying and improving processes to allow capturing of all charges and billing for services being providing, educating and communicating with staff regarding processes, auditing and reporting outcomes of the processes, and utilizing all internal and external resources in order to accomplish and sustain improvements.
The Revenue Cycle Analyst is expected to independently lead projects and produce measureable sustained outcomes. Using national best practices, this position proactively implements and supports system Revenue Cycle and Finance improvements.

Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelors degree preferred. At least 3-5 years of clinical experience, Charge Nurse experience preferred. Licensure as a registered nurse. Ability to communicate professional at all times with patients, families, other departments with in the facility as well as outside agencies. Assist in coordinating semi-annual disaster drills. Oversees departmental quality data and inputs information accordingly. Plays a primary role in Chest Pain and Stroke accreditation.
