Under the direction of the Executive Director, Revenue Cycle, the Director of System Vendor Management is a leadership role focused on overseeing and optimizing a company's relationships and operations with its vendors and the patient liability process. This includes managing vendor performance and workflow, managing the patient liability issues and concerns, liability legal process and ensuring alignment with overall business goals. The role often involves strategic planning, data analysis, and driving process improvements to enhance vendor performance and value and supporting the vendor selection and contract negotiation process.
The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The PCA participates in the orientation and training of personnel.

Health Information Technician job duties include but are not limited to knowledge of HIPAA compliance, receiving and fulfilling in-coming medical correspondence/form, calls, request from physicians offices, hospitals and patients, fulfilling incoming medical correspondences from the designated assigned work queues, promptly and efficiently. This program provides the entry-level training that will prepare individuals for work as emergency medical technicians (EMTs) at HEMSI. Individuals that successfully complete this program will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) examination at the emergency medical technician (EMT) level and will have an understanding of HEMSI-specific clinical policies and procedures. Accountable for 24hr, day to day operations of the department which includes effective management of clinical systems, human resources, financial management, and environmental management.
