Assists the clinical pharmacists in providing an accurate and timely medication distribution system.
Monitors drug therapy to improve patient outcome and quality of care, recommends rational and cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives and provides accurate and efficient medication distribution. Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens.

Assists the director and dept manager in strategic planning of the department and aides in the development of new procedures. This position has a direct involvement in maintaining Joint Commission readiness.

The Strider is responsible for the upkeep of the Two bin system. Through strict adherence to the BlueBin daily management system (DMS), the Strider ensures that the Two bin program functions efficiently by upholding standards, performing stocking of the Two bin on nodes, and addressing customer needs in a timely and precise manner.
