A Patient Access Clerk is a specialized health care professional who is responsible for obtaining and verifying patient demographic and insurance information to ensure proper billing of patient account as well as a means of contacting the patient in regards to their treatment and/or billing issues.  Patient Access Clerks are the front line of Marshall Medical Centers and expected to be an exemplary model of customer service. Primary Responsibilities: -

A patient care aide assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care for the acute and chronically ill patients under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse.

Orientation consists of working with an experienced staff and length of orientation is typically 6-12 weeks depending on experience. AICU is the only adult critical care unit at the Women/Children campus. The AICU offers a challenging workflow for RN’s.  AICU receives a variety of patients that includes primarily critical Medical patients, but also Antepartum, Postpartum, GYN Oncology, GYN, ENT, and any adult patient at WC that requires intensive monitoring.  The RN’s in AICU are trained to care for a variety of critical situations including hemorrhage, critical OB, CRRT, ventilators, and titrating drips.  We have 4-beds wired for fetal...

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The individual provides direct patient care for diverse patient populations that vary in gender, age, socioeconomic status, education, physical and mental abilities, locations, sexual lifestyle, and racial and ethnic background.
