The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures.  He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures.  He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations.  The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.  

Monitors drug therapy to improve patient outcome and quality of care, recommends rational and cost-effective pharmacotherapeutic alternatives and provides accurate and efficient medication distribution. Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Supervises pharmacy technical staff.

Responsible for the coordinating the maintenance and preventive maintenance of the Security and Parking Department's electronic systems. These systems include, but are not limited to, the access control system, CCTV system, key systems, Infant Protection system, parking-fee computer system and the parking gates. Duties also include the training and development of services and staff for such systems.

The Administrative Supervisor is accountable for the overall functioning of the organization on evenings, nights, and weekends. Primarily responsible for responding to hospital administrative concerns and implementing hospital policy. Holds oversight for inpatient units staffing and allocation of staff to meet workload demands. Assists in placement of float staff in general medical or critical divisions. Also, the NP assumes accountability for indirect care responsibilities, which support patient care including staff and student education, clinical research, program development, and quality improvement.

The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.  He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse.  The PCA participates in the orientation and training of personnel.

Job Summary  Acts as collaborative member of the clinic team in providing continuity of and quality patient care.  Responsible for the day to day operations of a multiple physician clinic, to include the effective management of clinical systems, human resources, financial and environmental management.  Promotes collaborative practice with other departments, providers and clinics, always exhibiting the ability to work with others to find solutions to difficult human, technical or administrative problems.
