Responsible for clinical, consultative and educational activities that identify and facilitate the processes to address the learning needs of staff and community.  Accountable for all or some aspects of developing, monitoring, and teaching: clinical orientation, policies and procedures, PBDS rating, and other opportunities for staff development.  Works closely with clinical departments to ensure quality of training.

Provides medical nutrition care to patients through nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention and education utilizing evidence based guidelines.  Develops care plans with appropriate follow-up and reassessment of intervention. Manages the total nutritional care of patients receiving Enteral Nutrition. Assess and diagnose patients for malnutrition.

In partnership with the RN, the Psychiatric Tech provides direct care to patients (adolescents to elderly).  Provides basic comfort measures, collects data to contribute to the plan of care and carries out interventions at the direction of the RN.

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides patient care for all age groups. The LPN performs technical nursing procedures according to established policies and procedures, assists and reinforces routine education plans, and documents patient care appropriately.  The LPN communicates and interacts with other team members to facilitate teamwork and delivery of quality care.

Maintains established standards of care, policies, objective, and goals in administering professional nursing care to all patients. Job Summary  Acts as collaborative member of the clinical team in providing continuity of and quality patient care. Responsible for registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and answering of telephone. Initiates patient care assessments, gathers vital signs, prepares patient and exam room for procedures, and collects specimens.  Provides patient education and support as needed to assist physician, patient and family.  Returns patient phone calls.

Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel.

Responsible for providing care which includes assessment, treatment, control diagnostic evaluation of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.  Consults with physicians.  Provides consultation, instruction and/or technical direction of medical, nursing and other staff members.

 The Scrub Assistant, under the guidance of the RN provides services to surgical patients, maintaining an aseptic environment.  The scrub assistant assists in the transporting of patients.

Provides complex clinical data entry into patient’s electronic medical chart.
