Implements and evaluates nutritional support and pharmacokinetic regimens. Supervises pharmacy technical staff.

The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care though assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift.
Executes appropriate patient care by assisting the physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures. Supports team members before, during, and following procedures to assure optimal patient care.
Registry may define responsibilities that are specific to each registry but does not limit activities under direct physician supervision.
Reviews and audits accounts located in contract management system on a daily basis to resolve and maintain collection status on an account prior to escalating to Team Lead for further review. Reviews and processes commercial accounts through contract/denial management system. Verifies eligibility, corrects and resubmits claim, and files third party insurances as necessary by adding/updating insurance information to host system. Utilizes denial management system and responds to requests from insurance carrier for additional information necessary to process claims. Reviews EOB's in contract management system and determines accurate account balance, detailed denial description, and applicable appeal process. Identifies and corrects transactions, such as invalid insurance information, incorrect charges, and posting errors, in host system. Resolves claims processing dispute as it related to following denials/correspondence received.
Greets the public, patients, and families. Obtains and enters demographic, financial and registration information for all patient types. Handles all customer service issues in a customer friendly manner. Must collect required fees from patients or authorized representatives. Must be flexible to work as scheduled or needed, which may include alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and being on call. This is an administrative job.
Greets the public, patients, and families. Obtains and enters demographic and financial information for all patient types. Handles all customer service issues in a customer friendly manner. Accurately listens and responds appropriately to address and resolve issues at hand. Must ensure all paperwork is checked for registration accuracy. Must continually enhance knowledge regarding processes in order to train new hires and existing employees. Should show initiative in administrative process improvement. Must collect required fees from patients or authorized representatives. Responsible for daily operations. Must be flexible to work as scheduled or needed, which may include alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and being on call.
Performs all cashier duties such as being courteous, totaling sales, and providing correct change. Must follow all cashier policies and guidelines daily by maintaining the register, keeping it locked at all times. Responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers in our C-Stores and Retail Areas. Duties include working independently or with other Baristas to help take orders, make drinks and provide timely service to customers. Additional duties may apply such as stocking condiments, cleaning, serving and prepping occasionally. Follows established practices and procedures for patient identification and service.

Performs ultrasonography procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Uses independent judgment ingenuity and initiative to perform state-of-the art diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit is an 11 bed ICU that cares for critically ill children at Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children’s. The PICU is staffed by RNs, NPs, and Pediatric Intensivist who work closely together with a supportive multidisciplinary care team to provide acute care to children from 0-18 years of age. We offer a progressive educational program to train staff in pediatric critical care to include monthly classes from our physicians. The PICU RN provides care for children and adolescents from 0-18 years of age, with life-threatening or high- acuity conditions that require constant monitoring. The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care through detailed assessment of children who have respiratory, cardiac, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, orthopedic, endocrine and neurologic dysfunction. The PICU RN plans and delivers safe, age appropriate care under critical situations based on the patient’s needs to include titration of drips, multiple technical procedures and use of a variety of equipment for acute care. The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment of or progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for outcomes of patient care delivered during the assigned shift, and strives to provide clinical and service excellence.
Kids Care, our region's pediatric and neonatal transport team, consists of highly trained RN's and RT's that specialize in transporting critical neonatal and pediatric patients. This position represents patient care directed toward
the stabilization and safe transport of critical pediatric/neonatal patients to Huntsville Hospital Women and Children’s. Patient care is also given in clinical areas throughout the hospital such as the Pediatric ICU or Neonatal ICU.
