Job Summary Works under supervision to install data network infrastructures.  Install cabling plant for use with the data communications network of workstations and printers.  Supervises multiple projects and analyzes infrastructure for proper utilization and installation.  Assists in the installation of voice communications equipment. Responsible for data/video cabling products, standards, and implementation practices, including Category 5, and fiber optic technologies. Responsibilities include detailed, complex cabling designs for existing buildings and new construction.

Provides diagnostic quality images for MRI. Provides a safe environment for patients and staff.

Performs clinical imaging procedures to include Nuc Med, CT, MRI, General X-ray, or US with proficiency at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs coding/DRG and abstracting functions for medical records, quality assessment and billing purposes.  Codes all Huntsville Hospital medical records with ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4 codes.  Abstracts key data elements according to medical record review criteria.  Performs coding quality assurance as needed.
