The RN identifies patient needs and priorities for care though assessment. The RN plans and delegates care based on patient needs. The respiratory Therapist LRT evaluates and administers therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders.

The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.  He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse.  The PCA participates in the orientation and training of personnel.

The Patient Care Aide(PCA) works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Patient Care Aide include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The Patient Care Aide must exhibit the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.   --------------------------------------------

Acts as collaborative member of the clinical team in providing continuity of and quality patient care.
