The Occupational Therapist assumes primary responsibility for evaluation of the patient, planning, implementing, supervising, reevaluating and changing the treatment program. The therapist maintains adequate records and documents the appropriate progress reports and patient education. The therapist supervises support staff and students as assigned.

The Infant Hearing Screener is responsible for performing hearing screens on neonates prior to discharge. He/she is also responsible for documenting screening results in the medical record and entering screening data into the Hearing Screen Computer database.
