Provides technical support to the lab by receiving/processing requisitions/specimens and ordering specified lab tests according to standard operating procedures. Responds to phone requests and enters lab test data into computer.
The Surgical Support Attendant works under the direction of the RN/Licensed Practical Nurse. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, transporting patients, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the unit. The Attendant demonstrates the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, to set and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
The OR Scheduler is responsible for scheduling elective surgical procedures for the operating room, endoscopy, and anesthesia only cases outside of the operating room, with the exception of labor and delivery at Women’s and Children and the cath lab. Other responsibilities include assisting physicians and staff as necessary, providing effective communication, maintaining a safe, orderly office environment and assisting in the orientation of new staff.

Performs a variety of invasive radiology procedures. Provides imaging support while functioning in a sterile environment.
The registered nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care using the nursing processes of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care. Also directs and guides patient care activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Cooperates and communicates well with all health team members to maintain the highest quality patient care.
Performs occupational therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) and assists the OTR/L in patient activities. Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.
Provides terminal cleaning, packaging, sterilization and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies. Records sterilization process according to hospital policy.
Provides medical nutrition care to patients through nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention and education utilizing evidence based guidelines. Develops care plans with appropriate follow-up and reassessment of intervention. Manages the total nutritional care of patients receiving Enteral Nutrition. Assess and diagnose patients for malnutrition.
