The Charge Capture Specialist serves as the charge capture subject matter expert responsible for reviewing documentation and assigning appropriate charge capture and entering data/charges to include Emergency Department charges; ascertains the accuracy of the data/charges and communicates directly with physicians and their office staff to resolves claim edits such as failed medical necessity edits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
