This program provides the entry-level training that will prepare individuals for work as emergency medical technicians (EMTs) at HEMSI. Individuals that successfully complete this program will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) examination at the emergency medical technician (EMT) level and will have an understanding of HEMSI-specific clinical policies and procedures.
