The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Registration Clerk for the MRI department at our Albertville, AL location. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The Registration Clerk will perform an array of tasks such as greeting and assisting with check-in duties of all patients presenting for an appointment, as well as check out patients to include scheduling appointments and collecting co-payments. The Registration Clerk will assist other offices with coverage issues when needed, as well as any other duties assigned. The phlebotomist works under the immediate supervision of the Medical Technologist/Technician, is primarily responsible for the phlebotomy procedures, including veni-punctures, finger sticks, heel sticks, bleeding times, urine collection and drug screen collections. The phlebotomist is also responsible for processing in the reference lab reports and for sorting/charting various lab results. The phlebotomist is expected to assist in certain clerical duties, such as running daily reports, assisting with the out-patients, taking orders off of the computer, putting up supplies and cleaning their trays and any work area.
The ER Attendant performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the emergent and urgent needs and comfort of patients while assisting the RN and physician with functions in the Emergency Department. He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. He/she performs other clerical duties using computer desktop applications. The ER Attendant participates in the orientation and training of personnel.
