Accountable, in collaboration with the Unit Director, for the clinical operations to include effective management of the clinical and environmental systems within the department. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The individual provides direct patient care for diverse patient populations that vary in gender, age, socioeconomic status, education, physical and mental abilities, locations, sexual lifestyle, and racial and ethnic background. The LPN implements technical nursing procedures according to established policies and procedures and plan of care, assists and reinforces routine patient education, and documents patient care appropriately. The LPN communicates and interacts with other team members to facilitate teamwork and delivery of quality care.

Coordinates care between other professional disciplines as needed. Helps patients and/or staff identify problems and explores with them the alternative choices and outcomes.
The Patient Care Aide(PCA) works under the direction of the RN/LPN. The responsibilities of the Patient Care Aide include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. The Patient Care Aide must exhibit the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set priorities and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
In partnership with the RN, the Psychiatric Tech provides direct care to patients (adolescents to elderly). Provides basic comfort measures, collects data to contribute to the plan of care and carries out interventions at the direction of the RN.

The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The PCA participates in the orientation and training of personnel.
The ER Attendant performs various care activities and related services necessary in caring for the emergent and urgent needs and comfort of patients while assisting the RN and physician with functions in the Emergency Department. He/she works under the supervision of a licensed nurse. He/she performs other clerical duties using computer desktop applications. The ER Attendant participates in the orientation and training of personnel.
