As an Outpatient Hospice Aide, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and provide various services , for the patient,  in their home as necessary and to meet the patient’s personal need and to promote comfort.  The hospice aide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observation and document observations and care given.

Performs a variety of routine duties in the cafeteria related to the preparation and serving of patient food.

The nurse practitioner provides comprehensive direct patient care and scholarly practice including obtaining comprehensive patient histories, performing complete physical examination, ordering and performing diagnostic testing and screening, diagnosing illness, prescribing both pharmacological and other treatments for patients, and providing health maintenance and promotion interventions such as patient and family education and counseling.
