The Pre-Certification Representative is responsible for obtaining approval from insurance companies for services that require referral, pre-certification or prior authorization. All job functions are performed in a manner that promotes the highest level of compliance with various legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements while maintaining all protected health information in manner that complies with HIPAA requirements.
The Charge Nurse is accountable for the patient care delivered during the assigned shift. This position supervises, evaluates and schedules unit personnel on the shift assigned. The Charge Nurse collaborates with the Director to resolve personnel, patient, and unit issues and mentors and develops the unit/shift team.
Special compensation is offered in a flat rate.
Provides professional nursing care for office patients following established standards and procedures.
Acts as collaborative member of the clinical team in providing continuity of and quality patient care. The phlebotomist works under the immediate supervision of the Medical Technologist/Technician, is primarily responsible for the phlebotomy procedures, including veni-punctures, finger sticks, heel sticks, bleeding times, urine collection and drug screen collections. The phlebotomist is also responsible for processing in the reference lab reports and for sorting/charting various lab results. The phlebotomist is expected to assist in certain clerical duties, such as running daily reports, assisting with the out-patients, taking orders off of the computer, putting up supplies and cleaning their trays and any work area.
