The Clinical Charge Nurse identifies patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning and delegating care based on patient needs. Executes therapeutic physician orders and therapeutic nursing interventions. Evaluates the patient's response to care and the attainment of or progress towards patient outcomes. Coordinates care between other professional disciplines as needed. Helps patients and/or staff identify problems and explores with them the alternative choices and outcomes.

sitting for long periods of time; also stooping, bending and stretching for files and supplies. Occasionally
lifting files or paper weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a
keyboard, operate a calculator, telephone, copier and such other office equipment as necessary. Vision

Additional duties required are reading telemetry, working in a fast-paced environment, providing guidance regarding exercise regimens, holding an ACLS certification, and evaluating patients for a Cardiac Rehab program. Cardiac Rehab staff must also know how to work within the EMR for that program.
