Performs a variety of patient care activities to assist physicians and nursing personnel.

Entry-level position performing basic non-invasive cardiac procedures, which include, but are not limited to, 12-lead electrocardiogram, Holter monitoring, and basic rhythm interpretation.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs a broad array of nursing tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider. The individual provides direct patient care for diverse patient populations that vary in gender, age, socioeconomic status, education, physical and mental abilities, locations, sexual lifestyle, and racial and ethnic background. The LPN implements technical nursing procedures according to established policies and procedures and plan of care, assists and reinforces routine patient education, and documents patient care appropriately.  The LPN communicates and interacts with other team members to facilitate teamwork and delivery of quality care.

 The Scrub Assistant, under the guidance of the RN provides services to surgical patients, maintaining an aseptic environment.  The scrub assistant assists in the transporting of patients.

Under the direction of the physicians and clinical staff the Health Care Assistant(HCA) supports the assigned unit by providing technical patient care services and support related to patients on the nursing unit. Additionally assists staff, physicians, visitors and ancillary departments with routine patient care activities and clerical support as needed. The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for attending to all phases of accounts payable, including keeping all accounts payable reports and files updated and answering phone inquiries relating to vendor invoices.  He/She is also responsible for assisting with the telephones in the Financial Services Department.

In partnership with the RN, the Psychiatric Tech provides direct care to patients (adolescents to elderly).  Provides basic comfort measures, collects data to contribute to the plan of care and carries out interventions at the direction of the RN.
