Responsible for assisting the physician in patient treatment issues, providing direct patient care, and maintaining proper standards of care

Performs clinical imaging procedures to include general ultrasound and vascular imaging where qualified at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Responsible for maintaining the uniform operation of the department by performing a broad range of duties. Receives and processes necessary patient information,Uses independent judgment and initiative to perform imaging exams according to policy while assuring patient safety, comfort and protection.

Performs physical therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) and assists the RPT in patient activities. Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.

The Charge Capture Specialist serves as the charge capture subject matter expert responsible for reviewing documentation and assigning appropriate charge capture and entering data/charges to include Emergency Department charges; ascertains the accuracy of the data/charges and communicates directly with physicians and their office staff to resolves claim edits such as failed medical necessity edits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
