Serves as patrol officer in the hospital facilities. Responsible for observing, monitoring, and the reporting activities in the HH Health System using patrol techniques and responding to security incidents as required. AICU is an 8-bed Medical/Surgical Adult ICU at the Huntsville Hospital for Women/Children campus. Orientation consists of working with an experienced staff and length of orientation is typically 6-12 weeks depending on experience. The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures.  He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures.  He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations.  The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.  

 The Scrub Assistant, under the guidance of the RN provides services to surgical patients, maintaining an aseptic environment.  The scrub assistant assists in the transporting of patients.

The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for providing our patients with nutritional consults.  These consults may be performed at the request of the patient and/or physician.  Clinical Dietitians also perform community education when time permits. Clinical Dietitians function under the authority and direct supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition.

Functions cooperatively with physicians and team members to ensure scopes are processed in timely manner to prevent any delay in cases.
