Performs a variety of duties in the food service department to prepare foods for service, serves foods and cleans up after meal services. Follows established practices and procedures for patient diet identification and service.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required
Education/Licensure: HS/GED preferred.
Experience: Food service experience in a high volume healthcare setting preferred.
Additional Skills/Abilities:Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Must be knowledgeable of and able to follow the standards of federal, state and regulatory agencies and JCAHO for sanitation, food preparation and handling. Must be able to properly identify patients and maintain confidentiality.
