Overview

Assists with the training and education of anesthesia attendants. Promotes collaborative practice with
nurse anesthetists and anesthesiologists in preparation of anesthesia equipment and supplies and
identifies needs within the anesthesia department. Communicates concerns, challenges, and questions
to the Manager. The Lead Anesthesia Attendant performs the key responsibilities specific to the
Anesthesia Attendant job description.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma/GED required.

 

License, Certification and/or Registration

BLS certification required.

 

Experience

Minimum of 1 year previous anesthesia attendant experience.

 

Additional Skills/Abilities

Communicates effectively with management, staff, and other departments.

Time management.

Ability to adapt to a stressful and rapidly changing environment.
