Responsible for clinical and consultative activities related to the EMR Information System from a quality standpoint, clinical follow up as well as other clinical training where applicable. Accountable for developing, programming, initiating, monitoring and supporting the EMR application as it relates policies and procedures, protocols and follow up practices within the quality department.
Develops reports in the EMR to collect accurate data for Nursing Leadership and designees of Nursing Leadership. Assists in modifications, maintaining upkeep and assists in addressing issues that pertain to the EMR for quality. Maintains compliance of The Joint Commission clinical standards. Assists with maintaining the department for continual readiness according to regulatory and organizational standards.
Current Alabama Nursing License required. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must be proficient in use of computer, to include word processing and spreadsheet applications
