Overview

Responsible for overseeing all non-clinical administrative operations in a large, busy OB/GYN clinic. This role ensures efficient patient scheduling, registration, billing support, financial collections, maintain and optimize providers schedules in order to maximize available patient appointments and medical record management while delivvering excellent customer service. The Clericial Manager directly supervises the clerical team lead and provides strategic direction and guidance. They will work closely with the clinical manager to ensure efficient and safe patient centered care. They will provide leadership and operational direction for the management of clerical operations, human resource management, financial management, and environmental management. Promotes collaborative practice with other departments, providers and clinics, always eshibiting the ability to work with others to find solutions to difficult human, technical or administrative problems. Reports to the OB/GYN Administator. 

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required

Education:
High school graduation or GED. Bachelor's Degree in health or business management preferred. 

 

License: AHA BLS Certification required. 

Experience:
Minimum if two to four years of management experience, preferebly in OB/GYN, Women's Health or OUtpatient Medical Office setting. Strong kowledge of scheduling systems, insurance process and Revenue Cycle operations. Previous experience with EMR preferred. Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills. 

Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Strong leadership skills with hte ability to manage and mentor a diverse clerical team and promote team environment.
