Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions
1. Accurately identifies patient records using 2 patient identifiers.
2. Schedules patients for correct test at correct facility
3. Schedules patients promptly and efficiently
4. Accurately enters data into the registration system, including medical, demographic,
insurance, precertification, and medical necessity data.
5. Accurately relays prep / arrival times and directions to facilities
6. Performs all scheduling functions with minimal supervision or guidance
7. Provides excellent customer service and service recovery when needed.
8. Prioritizes multiple simultaneous customer / physician / staff requests.
9. Successfully complete all mandatory training
10. Responsible for managing personal time and attendance, notifying
supervisor immediately of issues
11. Responsible for knowledge of all pertinent policies and procedures
12. Utilize AIDET and HEATT to problem solve with patients, visitors, co-workers, and staff
from other departments.
