Overview

To oversee daily operations in Registration Services. Ability to register and obtain financial information for all patient types. To supervise and evaluate the assigned staff. Communicate with ancillary departments or physician’s offices regarding issues as needed. Required to work weekends, holidays and on call as needed to ensure 24-hour coverage. Ability to work flexible schedule as needed. Reports to the Department Manager of Registration Services.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma/GED

Experience: Minimum of three years of management experience preferred. Prefer five years of healthcare experience. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required, Publisher and Access preferred.

Additional skills/abilites: Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written. Excellent organizational skills and exhibits Diplomacy and time management skills. Should be an ACHIEVER that possesses an internal, constant, self imposed, drive. Should have VISION, a drive to paint a clear picture about the future. Should exhibit COMPETENCE, a need for expertise or mastery. Should have the ability to orchestrate an effective team while assuming personal accountability for outcomes. (ARRANGER/RESPONSIBLITY).  Should possess CREATIVITY, having the ability to identify and implement more effective and appealing processes while being objective to measure PERFORMANCE. Should possess the ability to be aware and attentive of individual differences and have the ability to create an enthusiastic environment in which to work. (INDIVIDUALIZED PERCEPTION/STIMULATOR)
