Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images produced. Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas. The technologist will be part of the on call pool.
**The CT Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include offsite diagnostic locations
Education: A high school diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Science
Experience: 2 years’ experience in CT preferred
Licenses/Certificates: Must be ARRT (R) registered. Must be ARRT (CT) registered. BCLS required
