Coordinate and work to maintain all equipment in the facility. Order the appropriate parts and materials for repairs and projects. Test and maintain all the documentation on equipment. Assign and ensure that all the scheduled PMs are completed every month. Coordinate all the general maintenance for all of the facility. Supervise the inclement weather team to make sure that the facility stays open and safe. Perform all duties that are required to keep a high quality and safe environment for patient care.
Education: Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in the general or specific areas of electromechanical technology or, equivalent combination of education and experience, or equivalent in demonstrated abilities required.
Experience: Minimum ten years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, or equivalent in demonstrated abilities required. Knowledge of the general trades: i.e., construction, electrical, machine shop. Knowledge of AC/DC electrical theory. Knowledge of principles of HVAC and refrigeration. Intermediate knowledge of methods of measurement (tool metrology) as pertains to calibration of process and facilities equipment. Knowledge of principles of electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, load centers, breakers, bus ducts, motor control centers (MCC’s) and lighting distribution knowledge. Knowledge of mechanical components including vari-speed drives, gearboxes, gears, bearing chains, couplings, pumps, and mechanical seals. Knowledge of advacnced telecommunications repair and maintenance.
Licenses/Certificates: Trade Licenses preferred or equivalent experience.
