The Special Procedures Technician works under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurses, the Charge Nurse and the Clinical Manager. Responsible for maintaining scopes, equipment, supplies and procedure rooms. Assists with the transportation of patients to and from the unit and assists the registered nurses in caring for the patients. Functions as a unit secretary and relief scheduler as needed.
Education required: High school diploma or GED
Education preferred: CNA certification
Experience: Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively with others. Must have basic computer skills. Must possess physical/emotional stamina
Licenses/Certificates: Certified Nursing Assistant preferred. Current Basic Life Support Certification required
