Job Description:

The Senior Benefits Analyst – Data & Systems plays a key role in supporting and optimizing employee benefits programs across a large, multi-location healthcare system (10,000+ employees). This position is heavily focused on data integrity, systems integration, advanced analytics, and audit controls to ensure accurate and compliant benefits administration at scale.

This role requires a highly technical professional with deep expertise in Excel, reporting tools, and HRIS/benefits platforms. The ideal candidate excels at transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, automating processes, and strengthening audit and reconciliation frameworks in a high-volume, regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in benefits administration, HRIS, or a highly analytical HR/finance role in a large organization (healthcare preferred)
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and large dataset manipulation (macros a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience with data auditing, reconciliation, and systems integration in a benefits or payroll environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of retirement plan administration, including contribution processing and file-based integrations
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise HRIS and benefits platforms (e.g., Lawson, Oracle, ADP) and reporting tools
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into actionable insights and reporting
  • Strong understanding of data flows between HRIS, payroll, and third-party vendors
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical/data issues independently
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
