Plans, organizes, supervises, and coordinates functions and activities of Environmental Services. Inspects and evaluates the facilities physical conditions. Maintain the facilities environment in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition and comply with regulatory requirements.
 

•Plans and directs individual staffing assignments, flexes down on labor hours as necessary.
 
•Maintains labor hours in accordance with departmental budget.
 
•Supervises and coordinates activities of your department.
 
•Provide appropriate directions and guidance to staff.
 
•Completes employee job performance evaluations in a timely manner.
 
•Delegates responsibilities to designated staff.
 
•Assists in the departmental Total Quality Management Plan.
 
•Actively communicates departmental needs and concerns to the Director, Support Services.
 
•Communicates with nursing and other hospital personnel to facilitate procedures as needed.
 
•Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment.
 
•Represents oneself, department, and hospital in a positive manner.
 
•Perform other duties as required.
 
•Computer Skills.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Have good leadership and organizational skills.

Good written and verbal communication.
