Responsibilities

1.Helps implement the strategic plan for Structural Heart in collaboration with the assigned Clinical Coordinator and remaining structural heart team..
 
2.Operates within established departmental budget
 
3.Maintains current knowledge of Joint Commission standards and assists the department with meeting those requirements.
 
4.Continuously evaluates department processes to improve the quality of service.
 
5.Ensures that department standards and policies and procedures are current.
 
6.Enforces hospital and department policies and procedures.
 
7.Responds to physicians, administration and other departments in an appropriate and timely manner.
 
8.Assists with personnel issues, to include selection and orientation of new employees for the Structural Heart team..
 
9.Evaluates appropriate staffing levels in order to accommodate the needs of patients, other hospital employees and departments.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required

Registry in related field, such as CCI or ARDMS is required.

BLS for Healthcare Providers is required within 6 months of hire.

 

•Ability to communicate in English with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
 
•Ability to use effective interpersonal relation skills when working with a variety of people and situations.
 
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adjust to continuing changes in the daily work schedule.
 
•Absolute integrity in the accurate performance and reporting of diagnostic procedures.
 
•Ability to type for administrative, technical, and procedure related purposes.
 
•Basic computer and keyboard skills required.
 
•Must be able to display positive attitude, cheerfulness and the willingness to assist when communicating with the public
