Responsible for clinical, consultative and educational activities that identifies and facilitates processes to address the learning needs of staff. Accountable for developing and monitoring RT orientation, policies and procedures, and opportunities for staff development at all facilities. Works closely with assigned clinical departments/facilities to ensure quality. Must be proficient and able to train on PACS. Must be able to maintain all employee files for competencies and required licensure. Perform one in-service per year for CE credits.
Education:
Requires ARRT Licensure. Must have CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
Experience:
Prefer at least 2-5 years experience as an Imaging Technologist. Prefer recent management and/or instructor experience.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly. Must have knowledge of all equipment and materials required for procedures described in the Radiology department. policy/procedure manual. Must be proficient in use of computer, to include word processing and spreadsheet applications.
