Assigns diagnostic and procedure codes to patient records.  Enters abstract data in computer and generates reports as required.

Education: 

Current Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) or Graduate with a degree in Medical Billing and coding,

Experience: 

Previous experience in coding, billing and payment processes.

Additional Skills/Abilities: 

Capable of working overtime as required; able to read, write and speak the English language.  Ability to work with physicians, physician office personnel and hospital departments in a highly professional setting.
