The Case Management Director is responsible for the development and operations of the Case Management Department. The scope of responsibility includes utilization management, social work, and clinical documentation nurses. The director establishes the direction and activities of the department consistent with Huntsville Hospital’s strategic plan and mission.
Education:
Registered Nurse graduated from an accredited School of Nursing with a license to practice professional nursing in Alabama strongly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or Business Administration required. Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, or Business Administration strongly preferred
Experience:
Five years of relevant progressive management experience in a clinical health area, including experience in quality assessment, resource management or case management, Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills required for effective and creative leadership in working with all levels or the organization including physicians, senior management, committees, and patients and their families
