Responsible for direct line and operational management of physician practice, programs, projects and consultants specific to assigned clinic(s); to include effective management of clinical systems, on site laboratories, radiology, pharmacy, human resources, financial management, and environmental management. Performs business development and marketing functions for assigned clinic practice(s).  Promotes collaborative practice with hospital departments, physicians, and clinics.  Exhibits ability to work with others to identify and implement solutions to difficult human, technical, and administrative problems.  Develops, implements, and evaluates department policy with other directors, physicians and administrative staff.  Must be able to adjust to and lead others through rapidly changing environment.

Education required: Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university required.  Considerable experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Education preferred: Master’s degree

Experience: Must have a minimum of five years management experience in a progressive management role. Prefer at least one year of department head or practice administrator experience
