The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as
identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the
position.
Environmental Services Supervisor practice proper cleaning procedures to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for the patients, staff and
visitors.
Environmental Services Supervisor functions under the authority and direct supervision of the Departmental Director.
Some of the many skills performed:
Assists the Director in ensuring proper policies and procedures are followed by Environmental Services Supervisors and staff.
Assists the Director in ensuring safety is the top priority in all functions of the department
Organizes Drills and Training as mandated by policy at all locations which fall under the umbrella of the North Campus
Communicates goals established by the Director to the supervisors and staff
Ensures Competencies are performed on new hires and annually for each employee
Ensures all employees complete net learning modules as assigned by Education
Encourages positive interaction with other departments and maintains consistency in meeting their needs
Maintains written plan of action with the assistant supervisor and communicates plans and resolutions to the Department
Director
Assists with Shipping and receiving
Assists in maintaining oversight of Waste, Hazardous Waste and Biohazardous waste for all locations which fall under the
umbrella of the North Campus
Attends meetings as needed for EOC, Infection Control, etc.
Participates in committees as needed
Responsible for scheduling, task assignments, and assists the Director in maintaining the staffing goals mandated by
administration
Works closely with Aionex administrators
Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION:
High School Graduate Preferred.
