Overview

The Neonatal ICU supply equipment tech is responsible for cleaning and maintaining all equipment within the Neonatal ICU. The tech must have a complete understanding of the process of breaking down and cleaning each piece of equipment (warmer, isolette, crib, scale, monitor, pump, etc). The tech is responsible for the management of all stock items, both on clear bin and from Central Supply. Tech must be able to effectively communicate the needs of the department to the appropriate parties. The tech must be familiar with the maintenance and preparation of supplies in Central/Sterile. Tech must be fluent in basic computer skills related to communication, camera maintenance, and supply management.

Qualifications

Education required: High School Education or Equivalent.
Experience:Experince preferred; Computer knowledge necessary
