Overview

This position reports to the Director of Occupational Medicine

 

Job Summary: 

The Wellness Coordinator plans, implements, and reports health and wellness programs for industries in Morgan County.  Ability to manage data, provide aggregate reporting, and communicate effectively with industry representatives.  Responsible for leadership and direction of onsite events. Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills are required and ability to work effectively with the public in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  1. Coordinate all onsite events including biometric screenings, audiograms, vaccine clinics, student credentialing, surveillance monitoring, onsite physicals and drug screens.
  2. Work directly with company representative to schedule dates, times, services requested.
  3. Request use of MMU when needed.
  4. Coordinate and manage all equipment and supplies needed for each event.
  5. Coordinate and work with other departments to recruit additional help as needed for complex onsite events.
  6. Manage company data through various platforms including Microsoft, Systoc and ShoeBox.
  1. Promote wellness initiatives through marketing, communication, and outreach.
  2. Track and analyze program effectiveness.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare providers, community partners, and stakeholders.
  4. Manage budget and resources allocated to wellness programs.
  5. Provide support and guidance to individuals seeking to improve their health and wellness.
  6. Provide excellent service to all customers with a friendly approach
  7. Work in First Solar onsite clinic a minimum of one day per week and occasional clinics as requested by First Solar.
  8. Assist in patient care at Occupational Medicine Clinic when not working onsite.
  9. Manage all paperwork and data entry related to onsite collections.
  10. Assist with Immigration Physical applications as needed.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required: Medical/clinic experience required

Education:  High School Diploma or GED Required. BS in Health related field preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in health care setting, clinical experience preferred.

 

Additional Skills:

  1. Experience with Word, Excel and Power Point
  2. Ability to work with Corporate Accounts

Ability to work collaboratively with the Director of Business Development as it relates to onsite requests.
