The Wellness Registered Dietitian provides on-site health coaching, health screenings and educational classes for clients.

• Provides individual nutrition counseling based on nutrition assessments and lab results for hospital employees focused on weight management, heart health, diabetes prevention, and other wellness goals as determined by patient.
• Designs and delivers wellness programs and educational workshops on various topics
• Supports the Corporate wellness team to provide one on one counseling or group classes as needed
• Care manager for DiabetesMatters

Education: Registered Dietitian - AL state license

Experience: Previous experience in health promotion and wellness preferred.

Additional Skill/Abilities:  Ability to perform various clinical tests including blood pressure/pulse, spirometry, vision testing, hearing testing, height and weight measurements, body composition analysis, and hip/waist ratio preferred.   Must have a current valid Alabama’s driver’s license.  Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Basic computer skills required.
