Overview

Plans, organizes, directs, staffs and controls the activities of the Environmental Services/Linen Departments. Ensures all functions managed are in compliance with required federal, state and local statutes. Builds cohesive relationships with internal and external customers and ancillary departments. Develops and manages departmental budgets. Supports and advances the mission and goals of the organization.

Qualifications

Education: High School/GED Required. Bachelors degree in business related field preferred. May consider extensive related work experience in lieu of college degree.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing an environmental services department required.
  • Must have supervisory or management experience preferably in Healthcare Management or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Varied hospital or medical background preferred.

 

Additional Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to promote and foster highly effective teamwork and customer department support.
